Is there a scanner in the Library that I can use?

Yes!  Both of the Library's copiers are able to scan printed material into a digital format.  A flash drive is required, and one may be available to borrow from Lending Services or the Reference Desk, if you don't have one with you.

There is also a dedicated Scannex machine on the counter by the Reserves Desk.  It's pretty easy to use and you can scan to a flash drive, your Google Drive or SkyDrive accounts, or even be emailed to your smartphone.
