Can have a book saved for me to pick up when I come to the Library?

Yes! You can use the Hold request available through our Books & Media search to have us pull books from the shelves and hold them for you.

We are happy to retrieve material from our collection and hold it for you at Lending Services. From the Library homepage's Books & Media tab, click My Account and log in using your 855- number and last name. Once logged in, search the online catalog for your material. If it is eligible for us to hold for you, you'll see the "Place a Hold" link:

We will hold items for three days after notifying you, then we return them to the shelf.

Please call (973-720-3180) to check on the status of your hold or to ask a question.
